Dr. Gil Y. Cortes MD

Dr. Cortes is a Board Certified Dermatologist with years of experience in his field. He completed his training in Dermatology at the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC, where he was Chief Resident in Dermatology in 2008. He is specialized in the treatment of all manner of skin conditions, especially skin cancer and skin cancer surgery. He manages complicated cases of skin disorders, including all manner of rashes, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections, among others. He is trained in cosmetic and laser therapies, providing injectable skin treatments such as Botox and Dermal Fillers for facial rejuvenation. He also provides a variety of laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, including the CO2 laser, E-Matrix radiofrequency and laser hair and vein removal. Dr. Cortes is trained in Superficial Radiotherapy as a Non-Surgical treatment for Nonmelanoma skin cancer as well as advanced skin cancer surgery techniques. He is trained to manage skin conditions in children as well as adults, with a full variety of patient ages, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Dr. Cristina Novela Cortes MD

Dr. Novela-Cortes is a Board Certified Internist with years of experience in her field. She completed her training in Internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL in 2005. She has over 15 years of experience in academic, inpatient and outpatient medical settings. After completing her residency, she worked as a Clinical Instructor and Academic Hospitalist for the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She later transitioned to outpatient medical care and then opened a Dermatology & Internal Medicine clinic, in 2014, where she continued to manage all manner of general medical disorders, such as hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol problems, a variety of dermatological conditions, among others. She is trained in all manner of cosmetic and laser treatments for skin rejuvenation. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
